Iano Tamar - Lady Macbeth

Considered one of the best voices of dramatic soprano, she has collaborated with conductors such as Riccardo Muti and Gianandrea Gavazzeni. Among the most successful performances it is worth mentioning: Elisabetta di Valois in Don Carlos at the Staatsoper in Vienna, Rachel in La Juive at the Fenice in Venice, Tosca at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Leonora in Il Trovatore at the Bregenz Festival, Leonora in La Forza del Destino at the Bayerische Staatsoper. Besides the great dramatic roles of the nineteenth century, Iano Tamar is an interpreter of Mozart's characters like Electra, Fiordiligi and Contessa d’Almaviva.

Future plans: Nabucco in Antwerp; Don Carlo in Vienna; Lucio Silla in Barcelona; and Aida in Zurich.

Riccardo Zanellato - Banco

Won the Operalia Competition (1996) beginning a distinguished career that saw him perform such operas as Don Carlo, Rigoletto, La Bohème, Turandot, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Le Nozze di Figaro, I Puritani, Don Giovanni, I Masnadieri. Much appreciated by Riccardo Muti who invited him for the productions of Iphigénie en Aulide, Moïse et Pharaon and Macbeth at the Opera in Rome, he regularly collaborates with such institutions as the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Arena in Verona, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Verdi Festival in Parma, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, the Liceu in Barcelona, the Nederlandse Opera in Amsterdam, the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Settimane Musicali in Stresa, the Opernhaus in Zurich, the Vlamse Opera in Antwerp and the Opéra de Lausanne. He recently sang Verdi’s Requiem in Naples again under the baton of Riccardo Muti and then in Vilnius with Violeta Urmana. After that he starred in Luisa Miller in Bilbao, Aida at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Poliuto and La Bohème at the Opernhaus in Zurich.

Future plans include: Macbeth in Bologna, Roberto Abbado conducting and Bob Wilson directing; Anna Bolena in Munich; Un Ballo in Maschera at the Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia in Rome, Antonio Pappano conducting; Verdi’s Requiem in Portorico and Barcelona.
